Before starting Accelerated Development, a firm that provides consulting and training services to organizations interested in improving the efficiency of their requirements gathering process and reducing their overall development cycle, Mr. Mahal rescued a technology startup in Vancouver as their COO.

Prior to that Mr. Mahal spent 15 years being a director of product management, engineering, and enterprise systems. Mr. Mahal has dedicated his career to the production of high quality requirements and light weight engineering practices to create high quality software for all size organizations up to Fortune 500.

He is currently writing a book: "The Book of Five Rings : How to Survive a Software Project"
