Hobbies and interests of mine include hula dancing (when 50 pds lighter lol), singing in the shower, drawing, party planning for church functions/ kids parties, making people laugh or really mad haha, and most importantly, being a SAHM!
Every mother needs a sanity break, to express their thoughts beyond ABC's and 123's, so here I am, blogging.

I once aspired to pursue a career in secondary education, until I met my significant other my dreams were redirected to becoming a mother. I had a list of 20 qualities for the ideal man I was going to marry, then someone told me I needed to also qualify under my expectations. The list dropped from 20 to 2, lol. Lucky for me, I met the man of my dreams with all 20 qualities. So to whom ever said we needed to be an identical match, you were wrong and Paula Abdul was right, "opposites attract."

Many portray a SAHM as inadequate, rich, or uneducated. Im sure we all have our personal reasoning, mine is simply because two things, its less expensive than day care for our family, and " I don't want anyone else influencing my kids on a daily basis, I want to mess them up in my own unique way." For the time being, my world revolves around my children. I've worked many jobs and none compare to being a mother. No matter the mistakes I make they are still by my side smiling and loving me. There's no other job as rewarding. I have a lifetime to work. These years are crucial. "Kids spell love, TIME", and "time is of the essence."
