I wanted to write a blog for mums like me that have lost some, or all of their self confidence after having children. I gave birth to my second child, the beautiful baby Isabelle, in March 2011, and after a traumatic pregnancy and birth, I was left feeling like I had lost my identity. My blog is an attempt at finding me again. Hopefully, other mums out there will join me on my journey.

I am a beauty professional, I trained in skincare, nails, tanning, waxing, make-up and more, and I ran my own beauty salon. More importantly I'm a consumer, I love to buy cosmetics and beauty products, so all my reviews will be from a consumer point of view, backed up with a bit of beauty knowledge. My blog will not be all about high end designer cosmetics, but instead will focus on affordable and effective products that are accessible to everyone. There will be the occasional expensive 'mummy treat' thrown in here and there though, and if you have seen a product that you are not sure about, or want a specific product reviewed, just drop me a line.
