Bible Based

I am a seasoned Christian, the daughter of a Pastor. I have done everything from teaching Sunday School, to leading the praise team. I have learned to seek the word for myself. Sometimes we sit and half listen to a sermon, then just go on with our week as though that's it, I did it, got my church on.. Oh, but what about the renewing of my mind part? What about the studying to show myself approved? What about knowing for myself, not because I heard, but because I searched. Yeah, to know that I know that I know... Is that a true scripture he just quoted, or is that just something that has been passed down, and sounds good in this moment? Are those song lyrics? Have u ever had that feeling? When the praises go up, blessings come down. (song, or scripture] With so much technology, and different kinds of bible translations, learning the truth is so exciting. I along with other believers take time to reseach questions we have all thought about, from time to time, then come together to discuss our findings. We never discuss doctrine, only the truth based from the bible.... See, get it? lol. I hunger and thirst for righteous living. I want to hear well done, my good and faithful servant. .
