I've been writing professionally for eight years, distributing my talents between journalism, technical writing, editing, and book publishing. I have a B.A. in Writing and Linguistics through Georgia Southern University. My blog, Pop Culture Geek, is the result of years of writing suppression. As a technical writer, I do very little content writing. It's all bits and pieces of reports and user guides. My passion for writing was never put to the page. Pop Culture Geek not only releases my pent up pen but also lets me be me, the geeky gadget-loving gamer who's been to more comic conventions than I'd like to admit.
