I am in my twenties and moved to London a few years back. After landing a dream job in marketing after a few careful enhancements on my CV I have decided the share my experiences. This office was tiny and yet contained more bitching, office romance, politics, lies, gossip and dramas than any office I have ever worked in before.
I did learn a lot about marketing and publishing as well as how to get on with people and ten things you should never ever say to your boss.
I also found out that mixing work with pleasure can lead to some pretty sticky situations and some other fairly heartbreaking ones.
I came I saw, I worked I skived, I drank far more than I have ever in my life before. Heartbreak, illness, and general chaos as well as more embarrassing situations and wardrobe malfunctions than I care to admit.
