Note that Between 2BC and 1880 you had the middle ages, but before that you also had the Romans who had toilets. Oh! And the king had a toilet in the white tower. Never heard of it? The load would run down the "white" wall... on the East side. But the smell of the Thames would cover up the smell of those primitive toilets.

Thank you for your reply and constructive feedback. Although if people come to my blog in search of an in depth historically accurate analysis of anything they are greatly misguided. In fact if they come to my blog at all, chances are they misguided.
