Hi,I remember my mother put me in a GRAMMAR SCHOOL as early as three years old.She had to do that because she was a working mom and she found it hard to find the perfect babysitter.
Looking back, I think going to a school at an early age worked wonders for me. I became grounded in the academic world quite early so that paved the way for an easier transition to adolescence, then adulthood.
One disadvantage though, I had missed playing with my playmates. I had limited time in child-play back then. But I compensated it in other things.

Are you contemplating on sending your child to grammar school. Most Grammar schools generally perform academically better than state. You need to decide whether grammar school will be good for your child.
I would suggest starting as early as possible so that your child can learn all the materail then start practicing exam papers. You might want to use an experienced tutor. They normally do exams in Verbal reasoning, non verbal reasoning maths and English. some boroughs only do 3 while others do all 4

There are quite alot of resources but among the best are 11+ BOND series and the Nfer(using a new name). Check which board your council uses for the exam then either follow the Nfer or the Bond series.
Monitor your child, go through questions they got wrong as we all learn through our mistakes and have some fun learning.

What would you say?
