The "Violets of March" by SARAH JIO sounds pretty much like "EAT,PRAY,& LOVE." Her plot resembles that of the latter,the only difference being which is the existence of the 1943 diary.
In both plots, the two women protagonists have just gotten through a divorce because of self-crisis.They are restructuring their former lives,in the hope of molding these events into a fresh fit.And in the process of grand vacationing (the former in Brainbridge Island, Washington State;and the latter in Rome,Indonesia,and India) they finally become reconciled to their new identities and metamorphosed into better beings.
Don't you think "Voiolets of March" is a copycat? (but not necessarily inferior version).
