I was fortunate to have had a grandparent who truly adored me and showered me with undivided attention. Yes, I was a "LOLA'S GIRL" for the primary reason that I was the first grand child of my dearly beloved grandma.
Her name was "Estelita" and she bought me so many precious things like jewelry,clothes, and shoes, without me having to beg or plead. Sometimes I was awed that she gave me real jewels and she didn't give any of my cousins. Because of my grandma's biasedness,
my cousins secretly harbored jealousy for me.
My lola died in 2004, at the age of 89.Such a long life for a grandma who's been wonderful and kind to me all her life.
