Bio

Life is like the glass half-filled with water : you see it as either half-empty or half-full. I see mine as the latter. Despite the things that are lacking in it, I still consider myself as lucky for having the things that I have now - family, my three precious children especially, friends, work, the chocolate I ate earlier, the time I have for blogging, and this very life that I am still breathing for. I do not have a charmed life. But I am happy.

I had been an absentee blogger since about two months ago; and now i find these interesting changes on Bloggers. The first several seconds had me lost. But It's great that they've put the blog sites upfront! I wonder how everyone here is?

Jane, I think we are cosmically connected. You are like my soul twin or something. I was reading your comment on kyumungees page about meeting the brother you never knew you had. I had a similar experience. At 14 I found out my dad was really my stepdad, and my best childhhood friend was really my cousin and his uncle was really my father. Not exactly the same story, but similar. Whats funny is the way I found out. In Biology we did the finger prick thing to test our blood types. Our homework was to go home and find out our parents blood types and explain on paper how they combined to make our blood type. Needless to say, the blood types didn't match up and mom had some explaining to do.

You had that experience too? Maybe you are right about us being cosmically connected. and in that sense, I am happy. Isn't it uncanny that way before knowing this part in each other's lives, we were already communicating? I was already liking you back then when i first joined bloggers.com.

That Biology incident was funny. Now that i am reading it. But of course i also realize the confusion it created in your young mind back then.

I am relatively at peace now with the story of my life. Or shlould i say, i am making myself at peace with it. Only because those cannot be undone.

Comments on your site sound really interesting. I have not checked it out yet but I will maybe tomorrow. It's getting late & I think I need to sleep now. I am also a mother & I have a feeling that we will share the same interests. Till then..

Hello Joesin (?)! thank you for this. I am also interested in your views on parenting. One can never learn this thing on one's own experiences alone. Motherhood is relative. Hope you can drop by again soon. will be checking your site too. soon.

delish.com is an internet magazine on food. it has been sending me recipes that i also have not tried yet. mainly because some of the ingredients are not readily available in our local grocery.

thank you. It was actually taken by a friend in the barrio of Magdug, Municipality of Governor Generoso here in the Philippines at around 6 pm sometime in June 09. she used a canon digicamera. The place is part of the davao gulf which directly opens up to the pacific ocean. Beneath the banana and coconut tree shadow would already be the Magdug beach. South Florida and Magdug shares paractically the same ocean and relatively the same view. :)

I read your blog about money and left a comment for you. I offer you kudos, this is one of my biggest gripes in America.

Thank you for doing that.... You and Kyungmee are brave women, you know. some people would be afraid to share their past for fear of being misjudged. I said that you're an inspiration. I think I am goin to also share more of my experiences so that other people may also learn from those.

I finally started my blog on the affects of abuse on children. It's only part one. My personal experience with it. Part two will be after I finish my research. If you want to check it out the site is http://nattie-sufferthechildren.blogspot.com

and that blog brought tears to my eyes. Its very courageous of you to be able to tell that very personal story. You don't deserve pity. you deserve praise for rising up above that experience. Go, go, Nattie! you are an inspiration!
