well about 4 years ago I went into the food service industry and became a lunch lady, i didnt think it was a field or position to be proud of, but I've taken being a lunch-aid to another level. I am a Grandmother of 3. That old stereo-type lunch lady is gone, You can be proud of how you look when serving children lunch. Keeping your hair fresh(underneath the hair net), some make-up and a fresh attitude. And it don't hurt that I drive a jaguar!
I made a cameo in a movie last night, Cornerstore is the name of it, See Lunch ladies are appearing in movies, too!

I hear what you saying girl! My lunch ladies back in high school was nothing like you. I used to say that was the last job I would ever take, but you make it sound interesting and fun. I guess in anything you do, you make the job and the job doesn't make you...lol...great story
always be proud of the work you do as a Lunchlady. We do a good service and kids need to know how important we are in their schools,
