Model turned makeup artist and salon-owner, Joyce Platon knows first hand the ins and outs of the beauty industry. Propelled by her innate artistic passion and love for the human form, she pursued her studies at Make Up For Ever's Maquillage Professionnel earning professional certifications on Facial Beauty & Fashion Make Up for Professional Artists and Advanced Beauty, Photography, & High Fashion Make Up for Professional Artists. Magazines, fashion shows, print ads, editorials, and working with the fashion and TV's famous faces are what fills up Joyce's portfolio. Having Basic Look Salon as her business also allows her to offer her makeup services for weddings, debuts, and other special occasions. She manages her time between these gigs with regular makeup classes.
