are you an effective verbal communicator? is there clarity in your speech? do you demonstrate linguistic sensitivity? i dont think i'm an effective communicator. sometimes i might say i'm ok or i'm not upset but my tone of voice and body language says otherwise. i don't always express my true feelings..........and just get it over with/go through the emotions. if i'm put on the spot to give a speech, i usually get nervous and my speech becomes slur. "i'm not even sure if its english i usually speak when i'm nervous". lol!!!!!!!!!

what did i learn from the culture i presented in class? was that culture strange to you? if you did learn something new, how does that new knowledge influence the way you communicate now..............my group researched japanese culture. i always taught that the japanese was very secrective and always maintaining their tradition. they always going by the book, what was down through generation. another thing i learn was that they worship god's call shinto and the women dominate the male members in the household????????

A personal responce to an event that had an impact on my life?????.....In 2007 i started UWI studying BSc. Public Sector Mgt....within my second year i was still repeating most of my 1st year course because i kept falling my courses. Eventually i wrote a withdrawal letter indicating that i know longer wish to persue that degree. From the beginning, that was d only course which had space available, so i taught that if i completed/passed all my first yr courses i would request a transfer. I think d reason y i kept falling maybe due to the fact that it wasn't my passion. I was placed their because it had space. Eventually i decided to applied to USC to study BSc. family and Concumer Science while i wait on my transfer request from UWI...........months went by with no response both eventually i was accepted by usc, and within the same week uwi also sent me re positive reponse on d transfer..........but it was to late. from d beginning i jus didn't fit in at uwi??????i think i jus went along with the hype jus to say i'm in "uwi".

Hi....my name is Camille Harris and my major is Family and Consumer Science.
My personality is very laid back....my very quite and mostly to myself. I like to lime alot??????as trinis say "ole talk/sh**t talk".......i'm in d middle. I think my communication skills are between 5-6 because i'm are very patient individual. I tend to give people alot of chances so they can show their through colours and eventually i just "snap". I don't like confrontations so i try to avoid it at all times. I think i can improve my communication by speaking my mind more often but sometimes by doing it may seams that your always complaining....but its something i know i have to work on??????
