Well I can't say the store is doing very well...LOL Have had Grand opening, Store-Wide sale, and nothing. Will keep trying...never know what might happen. Have Christmas shopping done for family. Have outside 1/2 decorated and inside done. Weather may not let us finish the outside...LOL

I am a "life" member of National Rifle Assoc and a reg member of National Muzzle Loading Rifle Assoc. The NMLRA has a range in Friendship, Indiana, where I go to compete. I prefer the primative side of the range where everyone is dressed and living pre-1840. I compete on the tomahawk range throwing tomahawks and knives. I do the mountain squaw match occationally but prefer the hawks. I also ran the range for 9 years as range officier. Sorry, I seem to be rambling. How many buckskinners are bloggers?

I have spent hours on here today. Just looking around to see what other bloggers are saying and doing. It's rather hard to imagine how many people are here, their walks in life, their interest, and the whole world is accessable.

I think I may be able to open the store Monday after Thanksgiving. I can hardly wait yet I'm a litle scard. New job, so to speak, and I hope I'm as strong as I think I am to take on this projecdt.

Well, today I worked on my web page. Setting up a business isn't as easy as I thought..LOL I am working on faith here....work hard and get ahead. At least it's suppose to work that way..LOL Have a great day all.

Today has been a little different. I purchased a new vehicle and wanted to transfer old plates. OMG the questions, the paper work, the hazzle; I din't know it was going to be such a problem. Driver's license, paperwork from dealer, social security card, picture ID not a license, old registration papers, the only thing they didn't ask for was my dental record. I thought I lived in America. What more are they going to impose on us?

Two years ago, I moved up to the Shores of Lake Erie. The area is beautiful and I have found so many things to do. Of course, we had to buy a boat: boating is fun. Then you have to have cool gizmos for brasgging rights. (LOL)We are only a block away from the lake, so swimming is almost a daily thing. It's either in the lake swimming, or on the lake traveling. The Erie Islands offer many sights of education and fun. This is the place I want to be when I retire.

Do you really watch your kids grow up? I thought I did but I guess I just woke up. My son is now 29 and I was looking at him the other day and wondered when he grew up. I was helping him purchase a suit for a function he was going to attend the following weekend. So we started looking. When the clerk asked him about jacket size, he politely told him 44. "What!" I said. "Mom
" the kid replies..."I've grow up you know." What was I doing when this happened? They are always our "children" but now he's a man.
