I'm a Baby Boomer, a Viet-Nam veteran, a college dropout, and a retired mailman. I've been married to my best friend Marie for 44 years, and we're enjoying life in Memphis, Tennessee. We have three grown daughters and thirteen grandchildren.

I am fascinated by God's ideas, and I want to teach them to others in a way that is easy to understand.

I have one traditionally published book, The Bible Believer's Handbook, and I am nearly finished with two additional books that I want to sell as E-books.

Hi Larry,
Welcome to bloggers. In your posts on " The Bible Beliver " blog, you qute some famous people as believing in the Bible. This may well be true, but lots of them believed in the versions of the Bible taught by the main Christian churches. The latter group contradict the Bible with teachings like: man has an immortal soul; God runs a torture place called hell; there is immediate judgement on death; and the object of salvation is to get to heaven. All of these teachings contradict the Bible. Do you agree ?

Love your blog! I'm following, and voted for ya. I read that you're from Memphis TN! How cool! I'm from Trenton, GA not too far from Memphis. Closer to Nashville and Chatt TN though. We've had severe tornadoes this week here and I believe your area was hit too. Are things OK in your area? I sure hope so. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire GA, TN and other states that were hit. :(

A good day to you Larry!I'm a born-again christian too and eversince I've been baptized,the Holy Spirit has been actively guiding me and correcting me along the way. Believe me, there were days when I lashed out all my negative emotions against God when I had trials. But I realized later that although the PRUNING was very painful, it was also beneficial.Trials have molded me into a wiser, more mature christian than I ever was.
