I'm new to blogging but I chose blogspot since so many people seem to use it. I thought it'd be easier to follow everyone else's blogs then and vice versa.

I started blogging in English though it's not my first language. It's mostly because I've also lived in the US though and have friends there and I want them to be able to read my blog as well. But it's true that language does matter and you get more visitors if you write in English.

That's because you're from India and the country code for India is in. So blogspot changes the blog addresses for you from .com to .in
Blogspot has this system for some countries and apparently India was added among those if this happened just recently.
But .com still works as well and everyone outside ...
