I am a new author with my first book just released. My husband Marc and I have nine children. We combined our five biological children and adopted four more. A definite "Yours, mine and ours" family. We live in mid-coast Maine with the youngest two daughters which one will be starting college in just a few weeks. I can feel myself starting to breathe in the fresh air and actually smell our roses. Only one left! Wow, I can feel the urge to pat myself on the back, but wait,I won't do that because it will jinx me. I digress. Anyway, we have four adorable dogs, two golden retrievers, a cocker spaniel and a maltese. The first five children have given us a dozen grandchildren and it's a busy household when we all get together. My husband and I are looking forward to his retirement when we can hook up the camper, travel this beautiful country of ours,and to my writing (and publishing, of course)the great American novel.
