Hi Prachi, you've got awesome content on your blog, you could go pro with that content but I have some suggestions for you ( though I am no SEO expert).
1. Buy yourself the domain and move to wordpress.org
2. Your home page is 8.9MB that's why visitors have to wait for exactly one minute to see your site loaded full
3. Optimise your images, your images are above 100KB thats why the site is too slow. You can go to Smush.it.com to reduce the image size (below 30KB).
4. Remember if a site doesn't load within 10 seconds most of the visitors will have clicked the back button.
5. Use the read-more tag so that you will have the same number of posts with one image from each and the server doesn't have download all the images when someone visits your blog.
6. My job is to give advice from my experience so do what I say. :D
