I am no one special. I am not a millionaire, I am not the smartest man in the world and I am certainly not the coolest. But what I do have is flare, ambition, and determination. I live my life in-between my shifts working as a Jailer for LA Country Sheriff Department.

Since I was the age of nine I could remember I wanted to be something more. I wanted to have the ability to take off whenever I wanted, to pursue my hopes, dreams and ambitions and anything else I wanted to do.

I was a nine year old boy, living on the edge with my mother, we were caught between being homeless and living on the streets. She was hooked to any drug she could possibly get her hands on. I was just the accessory to her misery. My dad was in prison most of the time, and when he wasn’t he was selling his favorite recreational chemicals.

After years of this I decided that I wanted more out of my life. I moved to my grandparents and dealt with my miserable childhood the best I could. It wasn’t till I was about sixteen that I started to realize I wasn’t like my parents and decided it was time to make a difference in someone elses life other than my own.

This site and my job is my chance to give back to society - like my grandparents did to me. I just want to pay it forward. At 21 I entered the LA Country Sheriff Department Jailer Academy and had two side jobs (Trashing-out Foreclosed Homes as well as Home Inspecting), at 23 I bought my first house, at 25 I bought my first brand new car.
