I was born in the South of England and worked in the financial services industry for more than twenty-five years. Thai Lottery... and Other Stories from Pattaya, Thailand is my first book. My work involved a lot of international travel, especially to Asia and I have a particular affection for Thailand and Hong Kong. The idea for "Thai Lottery" emerged whilst watching tickets being sold by a Bangkok street vendor and hearing about the perils of getting involved in the parallel "underworld" lottery. The book is, however, a work of fiction.
