It took me a long time to admit to being middle aged, and now that I'm firmly there, I think I'll stay here for awhile.
I no longer worry about impressing the boys or being eaten alive by the cheerleader girls; I'm older than my mother was when she had me; and I'm comfortable with who and what I am. My children are not quite as comfortable about this as I am, but all mothers eventually become an embarrassment to their progeny.
My blog deals with the oddities and ends of modern life, with an emphasis on humor because we need more of that in our lives.

Thank you, Mahfuz. I'm a bit behind on my administrative duties here, so I just spotted this post. I was on editor's pics? Wow. I wish I had seen that! I will work on being more efficient and administratively superlative, but I don't have great hopes for astounding success.

Thank you, Moonomo. I enjoyed your blog about bloggers being social, and I especially liked the posted cartoon.
I am slowly figuring out this social media thing so that I don't seem like an absolute idiot, but it is confusing how to keep up with the people I'm following. For instance, do you see this comment, and how do you know that it is there? Do you have a page on Bloggers that you check to see comments to to your comments? I find out what people are doing in a labor intensive, manual way, and there's got to be an easier way out there.
Another for instance, how will I keep up with you? I am following you, but do I need to specifically go to your page each day to see what you've done, or is there a central page that will show me this?
