Hello my name is yvette mix, I am a single black female, 49 yrs old, mother of (5)grandmother of (10), owner of a home healthcare agency. I am a certified nurse aide, I now own the company, my last years on this earth is to help single women with kids, get off welfare and own their way in life yes I meant to say OWN IT,my second reason is to give loving, compasionate care to the elderly in their home, both my parents and grandparents died before I was 40 years old im the oldest of five and have to uphold the banner, change the course and set the path of my bloodline's future. We must lead by example. I once pastored for 8 yrs and felt I was not doing enough so I walked out into my community and a vision was born when I saw a homeless elderly lady sitting on the street, I myself was homeless with 5 children living in an abandon building. I invited her to live with us. She said not today maybe tomorrow, the next day she was gone. I searched for her and no one knew where she went, weeks later, section 8 gave me a house. She was heavy in my heart, I started Loving Touch care home, realizing I couldn't bring them all in, Lillies in the valley was born years later with two purposes: to save others like me, and other like Ms.Lillian.
