Monika Dickson is located in Ontario, Canada, and is a self-taught, Canadian visual fine artist who is able to capture the vitality and energy that surrounds us each day in both real and abstract concepts. Much of her work is represented in corporate and private collections.

Statement
“I have always enjoyed painting, the simple act of pressing paint onto a canvas seems so unimportant, yet when you step back something magical happens...those lines, swirls and colours turn into a recognizable thing of beauty. I often listen to music for inspiration while I'm painting. I have been told that my paintings have a fantastic energy that lifts the mood and can even promote a feeling of well-being to those who own a piece of my original art! I enjoy hearing comments like that!'
