A splendid day to you Erika!Sometimes I wonder if I'd ever fit in into the role of a stay-at-home mom in the future. I'm a very career-oriented person and I'm the type who'd rather pay a housecleaner or a babysitter to keep things neat and orderly.
But I guess if you've ben raised a true-blue christian woman, your family should be your first priority. That's why I admire moms like you who sacrifice their own worldly ambitions for a serene and satisfying home life.
I think I can also strive to be a good mom and wife if given the chance. I just need a guide and plenty of reassurance from my loved ones and friends. Sometimes I feel inferior of my homely capabilities because I've ben raised by a highly intellectual mother. She seldom taught me housekeeping directly. And even if she bothered to teach me those, she nagged me afterwards because of my ineptness.
Your post on homemaking tips serves as a good reminder to wanna be mommies out there!
