Heart Shaped Rain

Living with an autoimmune disease has taught me a lot about myself. And one of the first lessons that I learned is that Lupus doesn't fight fair, so neither can I. Sometimes I doubt myself, but I've learned that doubt is a very beautiful thing...as long as you use it as a motivator to prove yourself wrong.

Basically, I'm just a girl trying not to lose hope while living with some not so happily ever after stuff. I have a tendency of speaking before thinking & "Hey y'all watch this"...famous last words of a redneck...is said a lot. I wear my heart on my sleeve, don't believe in lying to spare someone's feelings, that there is good in everyone, life is too short to sweat the small stuff, stubborn to a fault, and if you don't pay my bills...you don't get a say in how I live.

I wouldn't change a second of it though. I'm lucky enough to be happy, and in the end what else really matters?! And I hope you enjoy my life as much as I do.
