Hello... I am a writer of poetry (mostly dark fantasy) and short stories. I am currently working on an epic saga. For those who don't know, an epic is a long poetic composition, usually centered upon a hero, in which a series of great achievements or events is narrated in elevated style.

There have been a few websites I've joined for writers and although I am still on those sites, I felt it was important to have my own little "postage stamp" of the Internet.

Allowing myself to write whatever I wish rather than worrying what others think has caused a great change for me. So often I get wrapped up in what this friend or that friend will think if I write certain types of poetry. I feel it's very important not to do this as it takes away from the poet's true abilities and imagination.

I joined Bloggers in order to connect with other writers who post their work on blogs. Blogspot is my current blog format and I join other writer's blogs that I am interested in, make comments on those posts I find interesting and hope poets will do the same on my blog (if they find something they like, of course).
