I am Cristina Flores-De Guzman, a Filipina a.k.a Pinay (half Batangueña and half Bulakeña) stay-home mom here in Texas, USA. My father, Ernesto Flores is a native of San Jose, Batangas and my mother, Thelma Lopez is from Malolos, Bulacan. I grew up with their superb cooking and now that I live far away from home, I know how it feels to be craving for the food that you grew up with. This and my desire to share with my 2 daughters our mouth-watering Filipino delicacies, inspire me to be a better cook.

Cooking has become my passion and I’ve created this recipe blog to share this passion with you. I’m not a professional chef nor do I have extensive training in the kitchen. My craving for Filipino food and my love of cooking is what drives me to search for good recipes and modify it to my taste.
