Most people can't express themselves
In words which represent their inner self
I am one of those
So this I propose:
Express your life
In words which are right
And which paint your life in the correct light
So that at nights
You would sleep with a smile so bright
For you've shown yourself to be a noble knight.
Some called them looters
Some called them robbers.
I say they are opportunists
Taking what they can without feelings.
Some curse them all day
Praying for their downfall of late.
I say don't waste your strength
They can't escape the judgement.
In whatever you do, it awaits.
whether it's good or bad, you can't really get away.
Same goes for my countrymen
Who rob and plunder like they are in no-man's land.
Keep doing it
No stopping.
On you, it would fall.

I love my country
The great Nigeria
Flowing with milk and honey
Coupled with violence and danger.
Never a place like home
Refreshing for the soul
Even if the tide is rocking our boat
We would still hold on to our goal:
One Nigeria!
I keep my finger cross
Waiting for the signs
Of a bright future to come
Before i reveal my own designs.
Don't wait for my boat
Get your own and sail out there
For most times you'll be all alone
Your silent cry only you would hear.
Be a man of yourself
Or a woman of your own making
Reach into your very depth
And the world is yours for taking.
