To my sort-of surprise over the past 7 years, I became a "mom". Yes! I never thought it would happen to me...well, I'm sure I did. I knew I wanted to have children some day, but to be a honest to goodness "mom-type-mom"? ME? The type who bakes cookies from scratch-using all natural sweetners, egg whites only & aluminum free baking powder, drives an SUV-yet consciously shopping around for a more fuel-efficient, eco-friendly, version. The type of mom who sets up play dates with enthusiasm, reads up on the latest break through in potty training, how to deal with temper tantrums & how to raise the next world leader? Yup! That's me. Some how, this party girl from Jersey became a tried & true MOM. Wonderful, challenging, amazing & overwhelming as it is sometimes...I wouldn't change it or trade it for anything in the world!
