I was really in awe of the white dove lovers. Is that the crude way they mate? One dove drops by for a visit and leaves the next moment...and comes back again when it is due time.
I hope you make a follow-up blog when you're finally able to touch that dove which has chosen to adopt you. And will you be successful in caging him? Or will you rather set it free and let it search for its roots?
Unfortunately Dovey left us in October and hasn't been back. My husband was driving around and saw a farm with a lot of doves, not so far away from our home. I'm hopeful the Dovey either found his/her way home or made the way to that place. It really was an interesting time. Now, I have a frog family living in my pond that I'm watching plus we seem to have a wild bird sanctuary here. We have a few feeders. We enjoy watching the Blue Jays, the variety of Woodpeckers, finches, and other birds. Thanks for reading! :)
