I bet its hard being away from the place you were raised.
I am here in California with a daughter (turning 2 in August).
I also sometimes feel like Im far away from home as I grew up in Hawaii. Not quite as far as you are from your home though.
My husband is from the Philippines and I know he misses all of his friends and family over there.
Do you ever go back to visit?
