It's interesting to know sheena's version, who hardly comments on classes in front of everyone(now in front of millions of netizens)

That is wht H.I. is apt at :)

Sheena you've beautifully and truthfully narrated the ambiance of H.I's class..! The most touching point is one in which you're talking of Sir's good memory in remembering his students' names. It's indeed very honourable for a student when a teacher like H.I calls him/her by name. Though he calls me ALINA instead of AILYA everytime, i still feel great knowing that atleast he knows me:)

Our usually unusual class

Getting to know that we'll be taught Online Journalism by Sir Humair Ishtiaq in this semester, gave a mixed feeling i.e. positive and negative. Positive because his teaching style is different and very unusual from others and negative because his exam is even more unusual and unpredictable!
H.I doesn’t bother about attendance but he is very well aware of the fact who is attending his class and who is not. One cannot say he's lenient, he is a silent observer....Silent, when it comes about observing students, otherwise when he speaks, his style of delivering the lecture, relevant examples quoted during the lecture and casual attitude, makes you listen to him tell the end of the class. Expert in his field though he makes sure to deliver the lecture that is understandable to all the students, otherwise a dictionary is always needed when I am reading any of his article.
Though our class is casual but H.I when changes his facial expressions on students entering late in the class, dragging chairs and disturbing others, it is enough for the students to realize that he’s annoyed. Unlike other teachers, he gives you an option ‘Ap jarahey hain class se ya main jaon?’ I myself have been given this option and I chose to leave the class before he leaves, though I was embarrassed but I can satisfy myself with the movies 3 Idiots and Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, both of the lead actors were asked to leave the class and so was I! Apart from my useless satisfaction, I felt really guilty to make him annoyed to that extent. The good part is H.I remembers the name of his students. Whenever he asks me, ’Ji Sheena, kia pooch rahee the ap’ I always get a positive feeling :). His punctuality is remarkable, no matter what happens, our class is on time, clustered with students, not because of attendance but because of an another interesting lecture.
