My name is Sarah, my blog is Skylar Magazine. I started Skylar almost 9 years ago, actually it will turn 9 on July 19th which also happens to be my 34th birthday. It use to be in print until a few years ago when I decided to turn it into a blog-magazine. Printing it was too expensive and eventually took a toll on the printer which no longer works at all. I sold about 50 copies of the first print issue, even though I am proud to have even gotten 1 subscriber that was not going to foot the bill. There were about 6 other issues, 1 which I never officially released to the public. Turning it into a blog was a very good move. It has been my dream to have my own magazine, since age 12 and now people are finally getting to see all of the hard work I've put into it. Though I've always defined Skylar as a fashion magazine, there is much more to it then just that. I cover pretty much everything, but what it really is real people and their style, their beauty secrets, their dreams and aspirations, their art, their decor, their stories. It's about real people and inspiration.
