A year ago, I turned one of my passions into a hobby: I created a blog about royalty in the news. Yep, an entire website dedicated to the latest on all the royals of the world - from Europe to the Middle East to Asia to Africa. I try my best to cover all the latest happenings in order to fill the interest of others who share the same royal fascination as I do, as well as inform readers on what royals actually do. Even though I am a born and bred American, I believe royalty has a place in our world, despite it being an archaic institution. I see it as a link to a country's past, present and future. I also believe monarchy is the rock on which a country can stand on. I am also fascinated with the direction the world's monarchies are heading towards in this changing world. In Europe, republicanism is growing. In some countries, the monarchs are giving up their powers to become purely figureheads. Monarchy is an illustrious institution that has a lot of history (and I do love history!), and I enjoy following it.
