Theuns Dreyer

Hi my name is Theuns Dreyer, I'm 40 years old and have been married for 16 years. We have three sons aged 14,12 and 8. The beauty of it all is that my wife's birthday is the 13/07, wedding day 09/07, oldest son 17/07, second 16/07 and youngest 03/07. Basically I'm screwed in July.

All of our lives we lived in Namibia, before and after independence. My blog will deal with life in Namibia and also give ciritisism on our RULING PARTY, because we are not better off since independence. That is just what SWAPO wants everybody to believe.

This year I started to write letters to our Local newspaper, complaining about this subject. For starters, I will publish all the letters that I wrote to them, whether they got published or not, on my blog. In Namibia we are not big on blogging let alone the internet. We still read out newspapers. So I'm cought between the catogories of life or politics. According to me they are same.

I sell cars for a living and my wife works as a Credit Supervisor for a local financial company. All my kids are in school and we have a nice house in a nice suburb.

We're not rich but at least we can afford what we have. The wife and I are currently trying to establish a singles pool league (black ball pool) in Windhoek. The idea is to expand it to the rest of Namibia.

I love this country. We do not have traffic jams or too many people, and we're not running out of space. We all get along just fine, but the poor get the short end.
