We are a couple of forty something flashpackers on the journey of a lifetime. Passionate about travel, we decided to quit our day jobs and take a career break to travel around the world. We've been on the road since 2011 and have no plans to end our journey soon. We write a successful travel blog, http://flashpackatforty.com/ about the people and places we discover.

We travel by flashpacking, staying in budget hotels and using the web to source the best deals for flights and booking accommodation. We are not backpackers, but flashpackers.

It would be impossible to list the best destinations, as there is still so much to see around the world. However, we would recommend to travel to Japan, South Korea, New Zealand and Myanmar Burma. These destinations offer something unique to travellers.

We love to share travel tips and hear others travel stories from their own particular journeys. That's why we write a travel blog to hopeful inspire others to travel the world.
