Discovering skinny isn't everything. Being healthy is.

I feel great. Most of my previous health problems are non-existent. Have I lost weight? Absolutely. But on this journey, I discovered a few things I wasn’t expecting…
•Skinny does not equal healthy.
•Healthy food does not equal low fat, low calorie
•There are lots of weird, scary things in processed food
•When I feel good, I actually enjoy physical activity
•My taste buds are trainable
•When I feel good about myself I don’t care what other people think about me

Most importantly, I discovered that eating healthy is more important than the size of my pants. There is no point in being a size 2 if you can’t live a long, healthy, happy life.

And so, I’ve become a fat girl gone healthy.

There is a link between between diet and depression as pointed out by you in your posts. However, depression is one of the most complex of all conditions to treat as the reasons for it are so varied. Anti-drpressant drugs, like drugs for lots of other health problems, are useless because they only treat the symptoms and not the underlying cause of the problem .
