This is my story, this is my life. I’m Elizabeth, otherwise known by loved ones as GIMPY, a nickname I only recently earned…quite by accident. Literally. Two years ago I was doing what I love most, enjoying lunch on an outdoor patio of a waterfront restaurant. Taking my seat, it was a fateful step that landed me off the patio and down the hill changed my life for ever.

With only my hands to type and my brain to write, the last two years have been spent, well…you’ll see. A LIFE OF GIMPY began in September of 2010…and almost two years later, the journey continues. I invite you to join the ride with me, speed bumps, road blocks and all. Tissues optional. Sympathy not allowed.
