Aladine
I grew up in an idyllic small town in the Philippines called Bacarra in the coastal province of Ilocos Norte. When i was growing up, my parents have noticed something special about me. I would dance everytime I hear music and prefer to play with barbie over toys bought by my father. I have always been interested with fashion since I was young. Watching Jeanne Beker and Elsa Klensch on their respective t.v. magazine programs were my first inspirations. I have adored the supermodels and some designers who were famous during the early 90's.
My Dad was not supportive with my dream of pursuing fashion so I ended up taking up a Tourism Management Major which I learned to love as travelling is very exciting. Been quite to few places in Asia and dying to experience European travel in the future, hopefully.
Growing up in the Province wasn't easy. There is little room for career growth and development and fashion wan't quite accessible then. So I pushed myself to work in Manila where most of salary went to shopping extravagantly.
I strove hard to get a better job and be able to work abroad. I am grateful of the experiences I've been through and the lessons I've learned in living as an Overseas Filipino Worker in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
