My passion is old cookbooks and old recipe cards. I buy the books, scan pictures, and post them and my wonderful sarcastic comments to go with them.
It's not your ordinary food blog! One day you can be gagging at aspics and meatloaves, the next you are reading about the transition of Pillsbury from the 1960s and Pillsbury of today. I also depict the difference between what women were "expected" to do in the 1950s and 1960s and the 21st century.
I love what I do with this blog. I love the emails readers send me.
I'll admit, I started out with trepidation but it's improved tenfold.
I love feedback.
