Brian Jones has had a passion for photography and anything related for the majority of his life. One photography class in high school was all it took to get hooked on everything to do with the subject. He became more focused on learning about camera equipment as he experiemented with everything available to him. He studied film in college which took his interest in cameras into a new medium. Brian Graduated from Georgia State University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s in Film & Video. He began writing about digital cameras, camera accessories, and digital camcorders soon after college. Some of his work has been featured in the SFGATE, boston.com, and consumerelectronicsnet.com. As new camera technologies continue to emerge, Brian will continue investigating and writing about them.

Hi Brian,your blog is good but one observation... the article on using range finders is quite misleading. Rule 14-3 clearly states that no artificial devices can be used to measure or gauge distances. The author Dee Davis seems to have put in his own theory of saying range finders are allowed as long as they do not show slope rating! Please make sure the articles are absolutely right when it comes to rules regarding golf.
