I was born way back in 1960 in Evanston Illinois. I graduated from Washington & Lee University with a (yawn) accounting degree in 1982 and received a law degree in 1985 preparatory to a very undistinguished 25 year legal career.
For a long time I have wanted to explore a career in writing and this is one step in that direction.
I love history, politics, sports and humor--not necessarily in that order and I hope that with a blog I may be able to amuse, uplift, provoke, or move a reader.
