Hello, we’re a couple from Colorado that truly enjoy hiking, photography, and the great outdoors. We venture out on many hikes and backpacking trips and love to write about our hikes as well as photograph them.

Hikes include climbing 14ers (peaks over 14,000 feet high), hiking to lakes, or hiking in the many national forests or local wilderness areas. Our blog postings provide basic trail information such as hike distance, elevation gain, and trailhead location. We usually try to provide a little history about the area we are hiking in.

Our blog postings also provide a very scenic photo journal of the hike itself. We try to capture the beauty of the mountains, lakes, wildflowers, waterfalls and wildlife as we journey along the trail to our destination allowing the reader to feel he or she is actually experiencing the hike with us.
