So you were the only girl in your family-and that made you a darling Princess in your circle. I could relate with your torment. My dad desperately wanted me to become a lawyer. But in my defiance, I bungled in law school and quit in the middle of the term. I just couldn't fathom the whole thing. I've always been nearer to the arts. But in the end, I got what I wanted. Same as you...your mom must have begged for you to become a doctor. Unlike dads though, moms are more understanding and less stern. That's why she had to let go of you. Good blog!
