If movies had a subconscious, this is what it would look like.
Here, I am going to post several frames from moives which are worth another look. To appreciate nature.
Please come, have a look and comment your thoughts!
See you there!
The idea behind Frametopia is a very good one. I like it.
The design is fairly clean and appealing, albeit a bit dark and colorless. I suppose the lively movie images sort of complement this well. The footer of the blog, however, needs some work. The network buttons (Twitter, Facebook, etc) are very cluttered and are not organized in an appealing fashion. You may consider moving your About Me to separate page, or to the top of the main page. Otherwise most people won't event notice it. The same goes for the "followers" widget and the "follow by email" widget. I would also recommend trying to get a custom header. This would make Frametopia look a bit more professional. Lastly, the images in the "browse title" section seem cluttered. I would recommend adding borders to them (iaza.com) and/or adding some more space between them.
As mentioned, I like the content of Frametopia. The images are pretty cool. However, I would recommend adding some written content. Either explain what is going on in the image, or offer your opinion. If someone hasn't seen the movie, many of the images offer no significance to them. If someone has seen the movie, they still don't know why you chose the images you did.
Overall, I rate Frametopia just under excellence. The idea is a great one, and the potential is certainly there. A few improvements could turn Frametopia into an excellent, or even superb, blog.
