Imagine the absurdity of two openly gay, recently ‘married’ middle aged, middle class men escaping the liberal sanctuary of anonymous London to relocate to a Muslim country. That was 2008. We went, did 4 years, then came back to live in the beautiful city of Norwich, England, and among the big skies of Norfolk.
