I love this blog. I truly do. first, as a curvy woman myself Betty has inspired me to dress as I damn well please, to re-explore fashion and buy the clothes I have coveted for years but thought I was too old, too fat, too mumsy for. Its been a shock for people around me and not everyone felt comfortable with the new me at first, such is the power of the idea that fat girls should only wear clothes that are deemed slimming and that hide and cover up. Sod that! Inside, I feel sexy, so why shouldnt I express that in my appearance? But with the support of my darling daughter who is my fashion stylist and Betty in the background, encouraging me on, this 37 year old is completely rediscovering her personal style! Also, I love the blog for the humour, the vintage, the crafting, her style of writing. This is a blog to read when you are having a miserable old rainy day and be inspired. She has introduced me to Collectif clothing, my new favourite shop, encouraged me to try a betty page fringe , taught me how to do a smoky eye properly, and so forth. Betty, I just love you!
