I'm a consulting biologist in southern California. I love science, and learning in general, and have done research in various fields of biology at Claremont Graduate University, Brigham Young University, and the Smithsonian Institution. I enjoy spending time with my wife and seven kids, birding, hiking, and finishing up my soon to be published book, Fat Loss Facts: The Simple Science of Natural, Lasting Weight Loss.
