I just started a new conservative opinion blog (conservative-blogger.com) where I share my view on current political and social issues mainly in the US.

I'm a firm believer of the (of course to a certain extent regulated) free-market system and a Catholic who believes in social-conservative values. I believe it is important to safeguard the American system which made the United States the most prosperous nation on earth. Getting rid of our debt must remain a priority as it is the only way to get the USA back on its feet.

Although I oppose ObamaCare, I do believe in a social safety-net for those Americans who, although trying their best, are out of work due to a bad economy, health problems or other factors outside of their control. However, we must at the same time make sure the US does not become a welfare-state which promotes reliance on the state.
